Who Else Wants This ‘New’ FJ Cruiser?

The last few days have seen a flurry of activity surrounding the FJ Cruisier and its possible replacement. Our mates over at 4X4 Australia released this image late on Friday.

But we weren’t happy with just a single image and did a bit more digging for you.

It turns out it part of a design study by Mo Aoun and not an official or (unofficial leak) from Toyota. So, unfortunately, it looks like we’re going to have to wait a little while longer for a replacement to the venerable FJ Cruiser.

Anyway here are the rest of the images from the series:

Let us know what you think, should Toyota bring back the FJ Cruiser?

  • It Never should have went away….Heck yeah bring it back..I have over 300,000 miles on and off road in an FJ best car I have ever owned!!

  • I love the look of your design . It would like a little better if you make the rear window much bigger because with the small window it cause claustrophobia to the back passenger. If Toyota every remake a Fj, I would buy this design. LOVE IT! LOVE IT!

  • I have a second series Nov 2013 Green on Gas [fitted] 141000 ks and only parts I have had to change apart from wear and tear is Battery and New windscreen.I will never sell no matter what parts I have to change in the future,I would love to see a new version [diesel for all the diesel lovers] just to see what it would look like.

  • I have a 2013 build & love it. 80000 K’s so I will soon be ready for change over. Build it in V6 petrol & diesel – 6 speed manual & autos & I will be tempted to flip over. Also 3 tonne towing & no stupid roof lights.

  • Yes. .and soon…my fj will turn 6 this year…and I am happy to have one just like in the images…but without the silly doors

  • Absolutely! Not sure why they took the old one off the market. Maybe it was because they stubbornly refused to put in a diesel. Maybe a replacement might address some of the old cars shortcomings.
