You might recall reading our review on the Toyota Fortuner a few months ago (which if you haven’t read, can be found HERE). Since writing it, Mr 4X4 contributor and writer over at Practical Motoring, Robert Pepper, has shed some light on incorrect information quoted by Toyota.
In media releases they inaccurately quoted the Fortuner’s ground clearance at 279mm, but when Practical Motoring took measurements, it came in at 225mm. Now Toyota have since confirmed that it is indeed 225mm, and considering people can spend large amounts on lift kits to gain as much height, 54mm is no number to be sniffed at. Having said that, would this stop you from buying a Fortuner?
