You can control the steps directly from your phone – say if you want to clean the boards after a beach run or muddy weekend, or keep them retracted when hitting particularly rough terrain. It’s simple and actually ended up being more useful than expected. Plus, with integrated LED lighting, stepping into the ‘Thirst Responder’ at night feels safer, especially out in dark campsites or unlit tracks.
Setup and Maintenance
Fitting the steps to the F-150 was straightforward thanks to the included mount kit and plug-n-play wiring harness. AMP Research has really thought about installation here making them a simple DIY for most 4X4s.
