Reckon you’re pretty good with your phone or video camera? Taken some pretty awesome footage of your 4X4? Want to film your 4X4 and win $3500 worth of prizes? The folks over at Mickey Thompson Tires are looking for their next on-screen legend!

All you have to do is shoot Mickey Thompson’s next TV commercial, cut it together, upload it, then send the link in here on their online form. The $3500 prize pack includes a GoPro Karma Drone, GoPro Hero 6 Action Camera and a set of Mickey Thompson tyres up to the value of $1500! Oh, and they’ll also put your video on TV for the ultimate in bragging rights!
There are guidelines to the video, and you need to nail the brief that you’ll find here. They’re looking for videos that talk about how all tyres aren’t created equally and how Mickey’s latest tyre innovations across tread design, carcass construction and compounds benefit four-wheel drivers of all levels.
The video specs:
- Minimum of 30 seconds long
- Maximum of 60 seconds long
- Must be shot in landscape format (as opposed to portrait)
- Background music is not essential but encouraged
- Voice Over or Voice to Camera element is not essential but encouraged
The upload specs:
- Upload your video to Youtube and fill in the form at mickeythompsontires.com.au/video-challenge, or
- Send a dropbox link to your video to marketing@mickeythompsontires.com.au, or
- Upload your video to youtube and send a link to marketing@mickeythompsontires.com.au
The steps to enter:
- Film your TV commercial (30 to 60 seconds long, filmed in landscape) and cut it together.
- Upload your video to Youtube and send Mickey Thompson Tires the link using the form on www.mickeythompsontires.com.au/video-challenge, or via email to marketing@mickeythompsontires.com.au.
- Check back on this page on the 11th of May to see if you won! The winner will be announced on this page, and notified via phone and email.
