The popular Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform has received a prestigious Good Design Award Gold Accolade in Australia’s 2020 International Good Design Awards.
The Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform has picked up the gold award in the Good Design Awards – also known as the Good Design Tick. The awards are recognised as one of the oldest and most prestigious international design awards and have been running since 1958.
For this year’s Good Design Awards, 835 high potential projects were evaluated against a criteria for good design, design innovation and design impact. According to Rhino-Rack, “The Pioneer Platform has been honoured as more than a symbol of design elegance, but as a representation of hard work and dedication.”
The Pioneer Platform was revised earlier this year after 10 years on the market. Manufactured from light yet tough black powder-coated aluminium, the Pioneer has fibreglass reinforced nylon corners, and the revised design allows for easy access to the internal channels of the platform’s front and rear extrusions for integrated wiring capabilities, which is ideal for those who want to install work lights and light bars. In addition, the Pioneer is compatible with a wide range of Rhino-Rack roof-mounting systems and accessories.
