Exitrax mounted on roof racks

The team at Exitrax have launched a nifty new roof rack mount, which in our eyes is the slickest setup so far for any type of recovery boards. The new mounting kits can hold up to four recovery boards, and feature a twist slide and lock design. Four threaded locating pins (which fit the leading brands of recovery boards) locate the boards, while a quick release locking system keeps them secure. You simply twist the top grey section, and they’re unlocked. However, if you’re in populated areas, you’re also able to pop in a padlock to prevent theft.

Exitrax used to recover Ranger from muddy terrain

Pat and Bill Callinan have been using the new kits while filming Season 14 of Pat Callinan’s 4X4 Adventures with great success. Bill said: “These things are awesome. They’re by far the quickest way to access your recovery boards I’ve seen”.

The boys recently used the Exitrax on the NSW North Coast getting out of some sticky Levuka 4WD park mud. Pat said: “Bill was hung up on his diff pumpkin, so we used the Exitrax to gain clearance, and the snatch for a little forward grunt. The combination got us out of trouble”.

The Exitrax Mounting Kits carry an Australian Innovation Patent, and a lifetime warranty. You can pick them up for just $99. For more information go to exitrax.com
