Organisers have now announced the full 2017 Big Red Bash Lineup, Australia’s most remote music festival.
Missy Higgins is heading up an impressive list of artists for the 2017 Big Red Bash, which is on once again in the Outback capital of Australia, Birdsville.Dates: 4-6 July, 2017.
Jessica Mauboy has had to cancel being at the bash, due to some unforeseen schedule conflicts. In her place, Missy Higgins has been announced as the headline act for the 2017 Big Red Bash!
It’s an incredible event, with an incredible history. Starting with only 300 punters and John Williamson on top of Big Red, it has now grown incredibly to the point of selling out every ticket last year.
Heavy rains made it an interesting exercise in making your way out to Birdsville last year, with lots of road closures throwing spanners into people’s itineraries. The event was also moved last-second from the sodden foot of Big Red into Birdsville itself, just across the road from the pub.
This year is gearing up to be another incredible event, with an awesome lineup.
2017 Big Red Bash Lineup
Missy Higgins – James Reyne – Mark Seymour – Lee Kernaghan – Kate Ceberano – Ray Ryder – Ian Moss
There is also Lee Kernaghan’s Legends of Country, that includes:
Christie Lamb – James Blundell – The McClymonts – Tania Kernaghan – Troy Cassar-Daley – The Wolfe Brothers, and of course, Lee Kernaghan.
Of course, part of the fun of the Big Red Bash is getting out there. Stay tuned on this website, because we’ll be putting together some awesome 4X4 journeys out to Birdsville, for your inspiration. If you can’t wait, check out this story we have already written.
