Coming into line with the updates that have come with the impressive new Amarok V6, the rest of the two-litre powered 2017 Volkswagen Amarok range has also been updated with a new look interior specifications.
Engine and driveline specs and details haven’t been updated, but the impressive new interior that debuted on Highline Amarok V6. It’s one of the nicest interiors getting around in a dual-cab ute, and is a big plus for the four-cylinder range.
Also included is some extra safety tech: Multi-Collision Braking system, which kicks in after a prang to mitigate the chance of further collisions. There is also a reversing camera on all 4X4 utes with a tub.
The new infotainment unit is very slick and easy to use, combining Apple Carplay and Android Auto. This is the latest-and-greatest in smartphone connectivity and whizz-bangery, giving you much more scope for use of apps and other phone features whilst driving.
‘Highline’ model specification has been reserved only for the V6 model, which makes room for the Core Plus model. This spec also gets carpeted floors, front parking sensors and additional 12V sockets, amongst other things.
Importantly, new 4X4 2017 Volkswagen Amarok models are getting a new underbody protection system, which increases fround clearance on the four-cylinder models by a very decent 34mm.
