Ford’s Ranger Raptor has already proved it can conquer one of the harshest off-road races on the planet, now it’s bringing a slice of that Finke-winning DNA to the showroom.

Introducing the Ranger Raptor Desert Pack, a limited-run collaboration between Ford and ARB that adds some serious desert-racing flair to Australia’s favourite performance ute.

A Trophy-Truck Touch

The Desert Pack celebrates Ford’s three consecutive Stock Class victories at the Finke Desert Race, that annual pilgrimage of dust, horsepower, and broken dreams across the red heart of the NT. With Ford engineers and Ford Performance drivers thrashing near-stock Raptors across 460 kilometres of punishment, the lessons learned out there have clearly made their way back into this limited edition.

Only 500 Desert Pack Raptors will be available nationwide, adding $5,990 (RRP) worth of ARB-developed kit and exclusive touches. Think of it as the Raptor’s “race livery”. A nod to its roots in desert racing and its reputation as one of the toughest production utes on the market.

What You Get

The Desert Pack includes:

  • ARB Sports Bar – purpose-built for the Raptor’s chassis and designed to complement its aggressive lines.
  • Four ARB Nacho Quatro Lamps – perched up on a unique roof bar, perfect for cutting through the night on an outback run.
  • Exclusive Desert Pack Decal – available with or without the graphics, depending on how stealthy you want to go.
  • Ford Performance All-Weather Floor Mats, because the Finke isn’t kind to carpet.

Those roof lights and sports bar will stay exclusive to the Desert Pack until all 500 are gone, after which they’ll become available as standalone accessories through Ford dealerships.

Race Pedigree Meets Real-World Capability

“The Ranger Raptor has proven itself in the toughest conditions imaginable, setting records at Finke and showing genuine desert-racing capability,” says Ford Australia’s marketing director, Ambrose Henderson.
“The Desert Pack celebrates that heritage while bringing real, functional off-road upgrades that our most enthusiastic customers have been asking for.”

The Details

  • Available for MY26 Ranger Raptors
  • Dealer-fit package priced at $5,990 RRP
  • Orders open now, with production kicking off in October 2025
  • Not compatible with the factory-fit Power Roller Shutter (but the Real Truck unit can be used instead)

So if you’ve ever wanted to own a ute that’s more than just inspired by the desert, one that’s been built to tame it, this might be your chance.

The Ranger Raptor Desert Pack is on sale now through Ford dealers.
