Pioneer have just recently lifted the covers off their latest camper trailer, called the Mitchell.
It’s a hard-roofed, hard floored camper trailer, which looks farily similar to Track’s well renowned Tvan. Look closer though, and you’ll see that there is a big difference: The whole roof of the Mitchell is hinged, which is reported to give a big internal space when opened. We haven’t seen it open yet, as the press release is hot off the press.
The bed in the Mitchell is a queen-sized inner-spring job, and the front storage looks to be smartly combined into the design. The overall design is quite angular, which makes it look quite modern. It also comes with a shower as well, which is pretty flash!
2mm marine-grade aluminium make up the panelwork, along with insulated composite fibreglass panelling. A tare weight of 1,350 kilograms is a reasonable weight, which can be loaded up to a 2 tonne aggregrate trailer mass (ATM). Suspension is an independent trailing arm setup, from Grafta.
