Aussie born and bred REDARC continues to kick goals on both sides of the business. Anthony Kittel, the driving force and CEO behind the South Australian brand has recently been inducted into The Australian Automotive Aftermarket Hall of Fame. The Association, colloquially known as the AAAA, has been at the forefront of the Aussie Auto Aftermarket for over 40 years now.

Designed from the ground up as the voice to represent the booming aftermarket; the association has had a growing presence in the 4X4 industry as we continue to grow. The AAA hall of fame award is designed to recognise the creativity, industriousness, and accomplishments of outstanding individuals who have contributed to the success of the association.

“I am absolutely surprised and shocked to be honest.” Anthony said on being inducted into the Hall of Fame. “It has been a wonderful 25 years of owning REDARC and developing a business from eight people in Adelaide to a business of more than 300 people today.”
“It has been an exciting journey.” he continued to say. “As everyone knows you have to have a great team of people and a great family to support you in this journey. I really appreciate everyone that has backed me and given me this opportunity to succeed.
“A belief in manufacturing in Australia is my passion; and I believe this country can do and can continue to do much better than we have in the past. I have been glad to see a lot more focus on manufacturing, particularly during COVID, and a lot can happen in this country, commercialising IP and taking products to the world, and that is what REDARC’s aim is.”

Those familiar with the brand and their continued product development won’t be surprised to hear that even at such a high point, the REDARC team still have their eyes set firmly on the future. “I have always had a goal to have the REDARC brand be known internationally; and we are slowly but surely succeeding by breaking into the North America and European markets which was really pleasing; and we still have a long journey to go. I hope to see many more years to come in that success.”

While the AAA is constantly lobbying for the automotive industries interests (and by extension, ours). They’re also a voice promoting creativity and innovation in development too. Their awards have promoted everything from clever roof access systems to payload measuring devices making 4X4s safer on and off-road.
