4WDing is risky business sometimes, and few things are more risky than water crossings. The popular phrase here is ‘If it’s flooded, forget it’. We are bit proponents of this saying, but the lines are blurred when rising waters affect the height and flow of water in established rivers and waterways along tracks.

Sometimes, things can go wrong, and here is an example. We don’t want to cast a judgement just from what we have seen, but watching the footage does give you some food for thought, when you’re considering your next water crossing.
