We have just started caravanning and a mate who is a volunteer member at fire station we belong to, travels all over the place. He has advised me of the benefits of having portable radios however as I am hearing impaired, he suggested that my wife would be able to use it and maintain contact and find out any hazards that may encounter during our journeys around Australia.
