Everest Ambiente

The base level Everest Ambiente has gained Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well as Ford’s SYNC®3 and navigation. Smart Keyless Entry and pushbutton start/stop improve user convenience in line with the Trend and Titanium spec levels. The well known 3.2-litre turbo diesel and 6-speed automatic is maintained in this spec level, giving you 143kW @ 3000rpm and 470Nm @ 1,750-2,500rpm.

Everest Trend

The new 10-speed automatic gearbox and 2.0-litre Bi-Turbo engine, first seen in the Ranger Raptor, pumping out 500Nm @ 1,750-2,500rpm and 157kW @ 3,750rpm will be a $1300 option for the Trend model and standard in the Titanium, offering higher performance and better fuel economy.

The Bi-Turbo engine seems a little under-gunned in the performance inspired Ranger Raptor, it will be interesting to see how it suits the Everest, which comes with a different mindset to the ‘race ready’ Raptor badge.

Leather adds luxury to the Trend and Titanium Everest models

Everest Trend and Titanium models will also gain HID headlights with auto headlight levelling and LED daytime running lights. The interior will be worked over with leather accented seat and gear shifter trim, a power-adjusted seat with eight channels of adjustment and a greater variety of safety equipment as standard, including autonomous emergency braking and traffic light recognition.

Everest Titanium

The Titanium spec level only offers the Bi-Turbo diesel and Ford/GM 10-speed auto, along with upgrades over the Trend including 20″ wheels and factory towbar, Blind Spot Information System with Cross Traffic Alert, tyre pressure monitoring, ambient lighting and power-folding back seats. 18″ rims are a no-cost option too, for those keen on more serious off-road ability.
