Episode 5 lands this Sunday! Here’s what to expect

Last Sunday Pat took us with him to the gorgeous Victoria High Country. Local resident, Emma Laukens from Ryco, gave us the VIP experience and took us to some spots that only a local would know. There were some seriously incredible scenes, landing this destination on our bucket list.

This week in episode 5, Pat heads to the Eyre Peninsula for yet another epic adventure. When it comes to big hitting 4×4 destinations, you typically don’t think of South Australia. However, the Eyre Peninsula may just change your mind. In fact, we’d go as far as to say it’s an absolute 4×4 playground! This episode, Pat is driving the V6 Ford Ranger, with the Ezytrail Ceduna in tow. The REDARC Tow Pro is also installed to assist towing, along with a set of Clearview towing mirrors.

Josh Leonard, Pat’s social media guru and 4×4 photo journalist, is also along for the ride driving the Ford Everest. The Everest is riding high on Outback Armour suspension and fitted with Cooper AT3’s.

What destinations will we see in this episode?

The trip starts off at Darke Peak, and continues toward Port Lincoln and Sleaford-Wanna Dunes. Then on to Coffin Bay, finishing up at Streaky Bay.

Take a bite of this action…

Duunnn dunnn… duuuunnnn duun… duuunnnnnnnn dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun…

You guessed it, the iconic Jaws theme song! That can only mean one thing: sharks. In this episode, Pat decides to head to the deep waters in his wetsuit to swim with all sorts of sea creatures. But before Patski dares to swim with the sharks, he warms up with some cheeky sea lions. A lot friendlier then sharks typically are, we think you’d agree….

It’s a nail biting scene watching Pat miles sailing off the coast of South Australia. We see the crew tossing fish guts into the drink and doing their best to lure the sharks over to the boat. First in the cage for the day, Pat jumps in and is lowered down into the water. How’d he go? We won’t share any spoilers. You’ve got to see this for yourself!

If you want to book your own great white shark and sea lion encounter after watching this episode, be sure to check Calypso Star Charters out.

What else?

You’ll witness some incredible scenery, some gorgeous fluffy koalas, some of Australia’s best coastal tracks, plus tonnes more. Oh and did we mention Josh gets himself bogged in the sand? The VRS had to come out this episode!
