When it comes to off-road towing, the old 50mm ball doesn’t really cut it. In essence, it was designed to look after towing the box trailer, of which it did a decent job. But with the new generation of off-road vans and touring luxury, there was a better way. So Lithgow inventor and engineer Joe McGinnes worked out a way that was stronger, smoother and easier to hitch up than before. Here is the story of McHitch.
