We have some huge plans set out for the next three years of the TV show including some seriously remote desert travel, along with some of the beautiful and popular favourites right across Australia. We have listened to your feedback about too much product information and not enough travel and tips, and we are tweaking the formula of the show to reflect this. Season 8 of Australia’s most watched TV show is shaping up beautifully.[/x_text][/x_column][/x_row][/x_section][x_section style=”margin: 0px 0px 0px 0px; padding: 20px 0px 20px 0px; “][x_row inner_container=”true” marginless_columns=”false” bg_color=”” style=”margin: 0px auto 0px auto; padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px; “][x_column bg_color=”” type=”1/1″ style=”padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px; “][x_video_embed no_container=”false” type=”16:9″]

That’s not the only big news, however. For the next three seasons of Pat Callinan’s 4X4 Adventures, Pat has decided to trade in the Patrol for something different: a Volkswagen Amarok. They are a highly-rated 4X4 ute with a tonne of features, and Pat is keen to test the Amarok on some of the most remote and rugged tracks Australia has to offer. The Candy White dual-cab 4X4 will be comprehensively kitted-out by colour-coded ARB 4X4 Accessories, so you can be sure it will not just look the part, it will do the business off-road too.

They come with a huge amount of features and technology that suit 4WD touring, so we will be testing them out on Australia’s roughest terrain and let you know how they go.[/x_text][/x_column][x_column bg_color=”” type=”1/2″ style=”padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px; “][x_image type=”none” src=”https://www.mr4x4.com.au/wp-content/uploads/grabberat2_1_1_en-e1433129620533.jpg” alt=”” link=”false” href=”#” title=”” target=”” info=”none” info_place=”top” info_trigger=”hover” info_content=””][/x_column][/x_row][/x_section][x_section style=”margin: 0px 0px 0px 0px; padding: 45px 0px 45px 0px; “][x_row inner_container=”false” marginless_columns=”false” bg_color=”” style=”margin: 0px auto 0px auto; padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px; “][x_column bg_color=”” type=”1/2″ style=”padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px; “][x_image type=”none” src=”https://www.mr4x4.com.au/wp-content/uploads/pat-uniden.jpg” alt=”” link=”false” href=”#” title=”” target=”” info=”none” info_place=”top” info_trigger=”hover” info_content=””][/x_column][x_column bg_color=”” type=”1/2″ style=”padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px; “][x_text]Communications is a very important element when it comes to 4WD touring. So with that in mind, the new VW Amarok’s will be fitted out with communication gear from the wizards at Uniden. Pat chose Uniden because of the new features of their fresh UHF range, saying: “They are a top quality company that really understand what 4WDers need. They are really open to feedback as well, so you might even see a few new products come from this relationship.” [/x_text][/x_column][/x_row][/x_section][x_section style=”margin: 0px 0px 0px 0px; padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px; “][x_row inner_container=”false” marginless_columns=”false” bg_color=”” style=”margin: 0px auto 0px auto; padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px; “][x_column bg_color=”” type=”1/2″ style=”padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px; “][x_text]We have also aligned ourselves with another top-notch Aussie company: RB Sellars. They make a great range of sturdy and fashionable clothing for regional and rural Australians, all the way from tough Half Button Workshirts to impeccably stylish vests and jackets. To Pat and his family’s new gear, we have secured a 10% discount across the complete range of RB Sellars gear. Head over to www.rbsellars.com.au to grab yourself a winter bargain.[/x_text][/x_column][x_column bg_color=”” type=”1/2″ style=”padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px; “][x_image type=”none” src=”https://www.mr4x4.com.au/wp-content/uploads/rb-sellars_logo.jpeg” alt=”” link=”false” href=”#” title=”” target=”” info=”none” info_place=”top” info_trigger=”hover” info_content=””][/x_column][/x_row][/x_section]

I saw the last show for January 2017 and wonder if there r any tours that I could go on to experience the magnificent scenery that you visit. I am an active mature aged single person so don’t have anyone with a 4×4 that could undertake the travel and terrain that you have been on. I have done many tours in WA but the one from south coast to top of WA I am interested in. It was approx 1800 kms up thru the centre of WA. Suggestions welcome if u know of a suitable tour company.
Thanks and I hope to continue watching every week. I just love the show. I live in Vic but born in WA.

To start I like most of the show except for the over the top advertising and most of the places that you get boged most people could drive a car on those tracks how about a little bit more realistic 4×4 times that you get stuck still a good show
