Whatever you’re doing this Saturday the 15th at 3.30 (except if you’re crossing the Simmo, maybe), cancel your plans. Because that’s the time the new season of Pat Callinan’s 4X4 Adventures hits the airwaves for the very first time.

Episode III – Brisbane to Sydney on the dirt, Part I.

Season 7 – Episode II – The Gulf Country

Gulf 600

Going into its seventh season of the show, Pat and the family once again hit the tracks in the trusty Nissan Patrol to show you some of the beauty and adventure than can be had out there, and being best accessed by 4X4.

You’ll see the best that’s on offer down in beautiful Tasmania, from the East Coast to the West.Pat even visits Bruny Island for some special 4WDing and delicious local produce. Then it’s something that hasn’t really been done before on television, and that is driving from Brisbane to Sydney on the dirt. We find some terrific new tracks, and visit some old favourites as Pat zig-zags his way down the Great Dividing Range. And northern Australia is also covered, with a ‘personal favourite’ journey through some of the best in the Gulf Country. Also, the lovely Diamantina Country is covered as well, showing what can be seen in such an iconic part of Outback Australia.
