Issue 008 – The Edge Of Wilderness

Issue 009 – Desert Dwellers
The Australian interior is a humbling and special experience, one that is really only accessible to 4WDers. Don Fuchs takes us along some unknown tracks in the depths of the Gibson Desert, showing what is out there to be seen. We also go to wonderful Rockhampton and the Capricorn Coast, taking in more beach, hinterland and tracks that most could handle. Pat introduces us to Tiny the Unimog, and the Aussie Overlanders head through Kakadu National Park. The Ford Ranger gets roadtested, and we see the Simpson Desert through the eyes of a first-timer. There’s all that, and mountains more!
Issue 010 – Mountains And Rivers
Issue 011 sees us exploring Queensland’s notoriously beautiful Scenic Rim, an aeons-old volcano that has left behind ruggedly beautiful mountains and rivers, ripe for exploration. We also do the mighty Anne Beadell Highway, and review the extraordinary life of larrakin and legend Len Beadell. That’s not all the travel, though. The Snowy Mountains are explored with Ian Glover, and Western Australia’s Pilbara and Coral Coast at the hands of the Aussie Overlanders. We take Jeep’s Wrangler Rubicon for a spin, and give plenty of tips on travelling with the kids in tow.
Issue 011 – Northern Exposure
Northern New South Wales is in the cross-hairs this issue, in all of its hinterland glory. It’s easy to see why so many call this part of Australia god’s country … The Gunbarrel Highway is beautiful as well in its own way, and we give it a crack in this issue as well. We dish out a double-dose of overseas stories as well, travelling the notorious Sani Pass to Lesotho and the Pyrenees Mountains. Isuzu’s MU-X is roadtested, along with the Cub Brumby. Plus, we show you all of the news, environmental issues and gear that a 4WDer worth their salt should know about.
