When Issue 001 hit the market back in November last year, we were extremely proud of what we had created; a beautifully written, photographed and designed magazine that was printed here in Australia with environmental care a major consideration.
We decided from day one that this magazine was going to set a new benchmark in the 4X4 and touring publication field, and we sincerely believe - if the amazing feedback we are receiving is any indication - that we have exceeded even our own expectations.
With this in mind, we decided that we were going to aim even higher with Issue 002...

THINGS YOU PROBABLY DON’T KNOW ABOUT THE FLINDERS RANGES
So, you’re tired and want to hit the swag, but your mates around the campfire are in a mood to party… loudly. Here’s a quick and easy way to bore them into going to bed, learn this off by heart then open your discussion like this;
ROASTED RUBBED PORK BELLY
With Spiced Pumpkin and Snow Pea, Red Onion and Mint Salad
- 1kg piece of Pork Belly with the skin on it
- Piece of cinnamon stick, a few star anise and some sea salt
- 200gm chopped pumpkin pieces
- 100gm of Snow Peas
- 1 Medium Red Onion
- 150gm roughly chopped Carrot
- 150gm roughly chopped Celery
- 150gm roughly chopped Brown Onion
- 2 gloves of crushed Garlic
- 1 medium sized piece of Fresh Ginger - chopped
- 1 Bouquet Garni
- ½ bunch of Mint
- 1.5 litres of Chicken Stock
- 100ml dark Soy Sauce
- 15ml of Fish Sauce
- Pinch of Chinese Five Spice
- Olive Oil
- ½ a Fresh Lime
- Salt and Pepper
